Every time Lina and I chat - I get sooooooo excited! I can't believe we are really going to Italy!
I've dreamt about going for so long that it won't seem real...even when I am there.
We have each got about half a dozen books from the library so we can map out where we want to go. Lina is in charge of finding our hotel in Rome. She has a few questions out to places, but we should have it solidified by the end of the week.
Given our experience with Catholic High School, we are toying with the idea of staying in a convent - just to relive our childhood punishment threats. :)
This is going to be an amazingly awesome experience!
November is mushroom harvest in Italy - so in addition to the gelato I will eat, I will be eating truffles, (these are not chocolates - check Italy Fun Fact #2) portabellos and more!!
Viva la mushroom!
